Tis the day before our anniversary, and I missed getting to the florist to pick up the flowers, uh oh. Hey, I ordered them, gave the team at the florist pics from the flowers at our wedding, along with the creative authority to make a nice centerpiece for the table, and yet I failed to pick it up.
I found a new local florist who is nearby and does great work, but I was a little too relaxed today.
The Mrs scheduled a night at the hotel we were married in but then canceled it because it is a drive downtown and just didn’t seem like a great way to spend the special day. Instead, she said she wanted to run three miles today and go on a hike tomorrow. The pup n I were all in! But we got absorbed into the Borne series and only went out for a one-mile mile after dark. Now I need to alt-tab over to another doc and write her a card because I was planning on picking one up when I picked up the flowers. So now I need to get creative. I still have breakfast, and the florist opens at 11. We’ll see how that goes. Chat with you on the morrow.
