First post of 2024, and yes, there was nearly a year gap between the last one and this one, but I am back. Well, I mean, I am posting again; I never really left.
Much to the title of this blog, I am starting new. Today I woke up in a hotel in Vegas and remembered the last time I was here what was on my mind. I was running straight for more than a mile, and three miles was not a herculean effort. This morning was different, but I wanted to start.
They say the hardest part about anything new is starting. Heck, the most challenging part of anything you could distill down to showing up to make that first step. Be it in a coral or across the start line. You can’t get to the finish until you start, and you can’t start without showing up.
Ok, enough of the rambling.
Today, I started with some exercises in the room before heading down 29 flights of stairs. Luck for me, my room is much higher up this year.
I used this https://www.self.com/gallery/beginner-workout-at-home-with-no-equipment as a guide to get started, then went for a walk, run/walk, and returned, yes you guessed it, walking.
I need to prepare for a day of sessions, so I’ll leave this here as a starting point, but here we go again.
